Yeah, for some odd reason Gamestop is already takin' pre-orders for Black & White. B/W aren't even up for pre-order in Japan yet. Perhaps Gamestop expects to make a heap of money off of these games?

Hmmm, that's odd, I can't ever remember GameStop taking pre-orders this early. Who in their right mind would pre-order this early?

i dont think anyone would pre order this early theres no image and its almost a complete year befor the game comes out it just seems kinda fishy

Gamestop's scam to make a lot more cash; Pokémon Black & White will be big; but hold off the Pre-orders for another 7 months or so.

It was a typo. I meant the first date on GameStop (When HG/SS was available for a pre-order) said 4/1/2010.

Why wouldn't they take pre-orders this early? It's good business in my opinion. They know the games are going to sell like hotcakes and the sooner they get pre-order figures the more time they have to prepare order numbers for their stores. Because if they were to run out of stock when the game is released because they didn't anticipate demand then they're losing out on potential business because people will go elsewhere to try and find it.

I agree with this, I was simply saying that I was surprised their doing it this early, although I do think it's a good move, just a odd one.

Well yeah, it is surprising, I just never thought of the idea of preparing millions of copies that doesn't exist yet.
