With the annoucement of the 3DS at E3 means that we may expect to see it around the same time B/W come out, so do you guys think that B/W will be both of DS and 3DS or not?

I remember back during E3, apparently Satoru Iwata made a comment on a video about B/W bein' 3DS enhanced but I don't think they'll be released on both consoles, like you suggest.

It'll most likely be released on the 3DS only, seeing as they need some way to get people to buy the thing. What better way than say to the Pokemon fans "If you want to buy your games, you have to throw out your old things a buy new ones!"

If I remember correctly, it was announced that B/W would be for the DS, if that helps any.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's playable on the 3DS, as well, seeing as the original DS was capable of playing GBA games.

Yeah they already annouced it on DS for sure but my thing is why would they release one of their most popular series on a system that's going to go dead in about a year, which is why I think they will be released on both.

Well if I heard right, the 3DS should be able to play DS and DSi games, so people could buy Black or White and play it with the 3DS.

B/W is, and will only be for, the DS. You are still able to play it on the 3DS due to backwards compatibility though.

Yeah I agree it will only be released on 3DS... they didn't release Diamond and Pearl on Game Boy Advance SP, I'm sure they won't do the same in this situation.
