No, its not really all that different. Though I haven't done much breeding in my Jap game. I think they might of added stuff, but I would have to go check serebii to know the details.

I would assume it's the same besides the obvious new moves past generations will have access to.

Yeah, it's the same. The only difference is that if the female has a Dream World ability, it's possible to transfer it over to the offspring.

Yes. To elaborate on that, if the female has the Dream World ability, it has a high chance (according to Serebii) of transferring to the offspring. However, if the father is a Ditto, apparently this will not work.
