Over the past week, I've been paying attention to the TV a lot. I haven't noticed all that many commercials for the new Pokemon game. I've only seen one, and that was in regards to the Celebi you need to transfer over from SS/HG to get the little ugly clown fox thing.
Has anyone else seen any English commercials that I've missed? Do you think it even really all that necessary to promote a game such as this via TV, or would the hype spread by mouth and internet be enough?

I have seen one or two, but that was last month. I haven't seen any lately now that you point that out. Could be the fact that they know the news of the game is all over the internet. After all why pay for advertisements when the fans spread the word for free?

I haven't watched TV in years, let alone adds.
Dunno bro, but I'm pretty sure word of mouth and adverts at gaming stores are enough.

There's been quite a few on the TV where I live, all of them have advertised the Victini event straight afterwards as well, and there's been several adverts for it in all my local papers, including a huge 2 page advert for it in the sun the day it came out.

I've seen the Celebi one & two versions of the B/W commercial. The cool part was that it wasn't just on kids' networks, I saw one on Comedy Central.
