So what do you guys think of some of the new abilities given to the Pokemon in this gen?
I have to say I love Illusion its pretty neat and I'm already thinking of ways it could be used over wifi. I also won a battle today because of one of the new abilities, Regenerator. I had switched my Mienfoo out forgetting about its ability. Anyway I had the trainer down to their last Pokemon, the Pokemon had KO'd the Pokemon I had out so I only had Mienfoo left. I sent it out thinking it would be KO'd and I would lose, but to my surprise its HP was pretty good. I won that battle luckily because of the new ability.
So has anything like this happened to anyone else? How have these abilities affected in game battling for you and your wifi battling?

I must confess to a complete love of the ability Prankster, especially when Whimsicott has it.
I made sure mine properly abused this ability so it could spread paralysis around whenever I needed it to. He's such a trooper. c;
Being able to spread paralysis around like that really helped me when I got lucky and was able to set up for a sweep with my Dragon Dancing Haxorus. ~

I have seen a few new abilities that have both help and hurt me in battle.

Victory Star is probably one of the best support abilities out there. Probably can't have a double battle without Victini. XD

Well I used to hate Whimsicott until I got me an Espeon with his new ability. Now I really like the new abilities.
