Shiny Pokemon

Aren't you glad you didn't smash the egg to bits? There's no such thing as a bad egg. A bad egg is just an egg that takes a bit longer to hatch, in my experience it's because the pokemon hatching from it is rather rare, like an Omanite/star (whichever comes first, exuse the spelling if it's in correct). Your shiny Caterpie, what were the parents? I mean was it a normal Butterfree with another Butterfree, a shiny and non shiny Butterfree, or a shiny/non Butterfry with a ditto. You get the idea.

dont you get it...shiny pokemon are random, they appear anywhere where pokemon are...they DONT ONLY come from eggs...
and there is no place in the game where shinys are more common than other places, they are just very rare and take ages to find, you find them by lucky chance, not by going to the right area or breeding the right pokemon...

But you can get a big chance of getting a shiny from a bad egg

Die_Zombie, yes I understand that, but in my opinion, wether it be right or wrong, if one found person found a shiny in a certain area then so can another, no matter the chances. As for the breeding thing, I can be a genetics freak at times. I am intrested to know if you can sucssessfully breed shiny pokemon. So sue me if I am dead on wrong and everyone says you can't. I still want to try and if I succeed, then my time will not have been wasted idly. (Not to mention I just proved you wrong) If I don't succseed, then I'll just keep trying untill I lose intrest. My intrest in it will pick back up in a few months time and I can try to prove you wrong again. On a happier note, I bought Emerald today. Kinda bummed it's still set in Hoenn, but I'll get over it.

It worked thanks and only tip get a grass and water pokemon in your team you fight aqua and magma so I chosse treeco as my starter BECAUSE you cant catch any other good grass pokemon.

if one person found a shiny in a certain area, then your chances of finding a shiny there will be exactly the same as in another area, in other words, it doesnt matter where you go, shinys are always just as rare...

i have a blue magby, a red gyrados, a red scyther, a purple miltank, a gold onyx, a black dragonite, and 23 other shiny pokemon, including a shiny pikachu from my yellow version.

fmach, how on earth do you manage that many shinys, have you cheated...

well u know the egg tht the daycare is supposed to give well i got a shiny elekid from it and i caught the shiny gyrados

i pot my game in a PS 2 and used dodrio modeso everything would go by faster . then i just walked alot. Sweetscent helps too
