Shiny Pokemon

apparently that first egg from the day care is meant to be a very high chance of shiny, but ive got about 5 of them w/o getting a shiny

My first day care egg is always the same the pokemon and its never been shiny.

ive got a elekid, smoochum, igglybuff, clefa, and magby, i think

I've only gotten the fighting pokemon. Erm, I forgot its name...

what abou togepi, or havent you bothered to hatch it yet...
i usually save the baby pokemon for last too..

The Togepi I have has hatched, though most of the time I get so frustrated with it that I dump it in the P.C and continue to raise it only after I am working on my pokedex. It has never been shiny, but the one that I have now is awesome. He usually uses a very powerfull move three to four times. When he was first hatched, the first move he preformed was Fireblast. After that came Thunder, Flamethrower, Ice beam, Ancientpower and a whole load of other good moves. I'm rather impressed with this little bugger.

metronome, it can also do splash, tail wag, foresight and focus energy, and all those other pointless moves

Yeah I know. So far its been stupid only once. I nearly shot him for being that stupid. All he did was withdraw, defense curl, and splash. That's it. Over and over again. Untill, finally, I made him faint. Or rather, the opposing pokemon did.

i wonder if memtronome does struggle, ive never seen it do that before...
they say it does every move, but i dont think it does that one...

Technically, Struggle isn't a move. Everything and everyone struggles when they are powerless. That's just what the Pokemon are doing.

well, you could also say, that technically, giving a pokemon an item, or switching it is a move...

That counts as a turn, if that's what you mean. If you mean an actual move like Thunderbolt then I disagree. The Pokemon isn't making that move, you as the trainer are deciding that for the Pokemon.
