What would be a good level to trade pokemon like Kadabra or Gravellar so that they evolve?

In GSC, there's no difference in Graveler/Golem, Kadabra/Alakazam's move set. That means you can evolve it any time you want.

Try to evolve them as soon as possible, for the increased stats.However golem loses speed, when he/she evolves.

Don't most Pokemon gain a speed boost if you wait to evolve through trading? Just wondering, I'm working on a Haunter and Poliwhirl now.
