Will it be easier or harder to complete the national pokedex in diamond or pearl?

With now over 490 pokemon to collect, the catching scene will be a little bit crazy. Getting all 493 pokemon will be quite the challenge. Although, with features such as pal park, and wi-fi's trading system (put up the pokemon you're trading, state the one you want to get), it might end up being EASIER to catch 'em all. Post your opinions here.

Might not be the easiest task. Because still filling 1 PokeDex is annoying enough. But if you have a lot of pokemon from your other games you should be in good shape.

I'm guessing harder since the only way to get some pokemon is by that park pal thing, which is time-consuming.

Only the starters and legendaries before D/P are only available thru pal park

Actually, all of the previous pokemon are able to be traded over, it's just that the starters and previous legendaries are not available any other way.

I just meant, getting a pokemon you want is almost as easy as connecting to nintendo wi-fi

erm in emrald u can transfer only once a day how much at once a day casue if so ill buy my gs to use if i cant catch myself

if you use a cheat it will be easier.

You do not need to catch all of the pokemon as you did in last games, instead you will only have to see all of the pokemon to complete this feat.

Hmm... it will be though... considering that many Pok'emon in the previous games were unobtainable(Celebi for example).
I'll admit that I cheated to get Mew once before, but it really wasn't worth $20 for an AR and I felt like I didn't accomplish anything. :/

My sister plans on getting naetoru, and I plan on getting pochama. We'll trade starters ASAP, so her rival battles are easier.

Yeah you said that already to me at least. But if I do get the game I so want all three of the starters.
