Ok in pal park you have to catch your pokemon(there the same pokemon but you keep them in the GBA game) So if you just catch the pokemon then doesn't that mean you could do it over and over and over again. Which means you can duplicate starters and legendaries!

tell me what you think.

You don't keep the pokemon on both games, you transfer your pokemon to D/P Pal park, and catch it, it dissapears from your GBA. Like normal trading. Though it's supposedly one-way.

What do you mean it "dissappears" from your GBA game?

Well...I mean when you trade it onto your D/P, It dissapears: as in it's on your D/P not your GBA game.(At least, that's what I thought)

I don't think so.

This is what I think happens:

When you insert a GBA game into the game slot, you unlock some Pokemon into the D/P game so you can complete your Pokedex. These are the Games: R/S/E and Fr/Lg. Each game unlock different Pokemon. You can find these Pokemon in the wild, probably Pal Park.

that isnt what they are saying. Pal Park is the place that the Pokmon you want to put on Diamond/Pearl from the GBA games,

ie Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treeko, Torchic, and Mudkip.

it is said, that once they are traded over, they are no longer on your GBA game

So as an example, you have a level 100 Swampert in your Emerald game, once you transfer it to Diamond, it disappears and appears as a Mudkip in pokemon Diamond?

Never mind I found out. It's like trading. You have a level 100 Swampert in your Emerald. Then you choose 6 Pokemon you have in Emerald to transfer to Pal Park. You go to Pal Park. You get the Park Ball which is like a Master Ball. You go find your Pokemon in the wild in a certain amount of time. If you catch all 6 Pokemon in the time limit, you get a special berry.

You can also unlock Pokemon in the game, but they are located in different areas. Like if you put any game in the GBA slot, you can find a Haunter and Gengar somewhere that I forgot. Emerald will allow you to find some GSC Pokemon somewhere in the region.

oh well that bust my theory.

ANd what your say about the pokemon in the wild its like this.

If you put any game in the haunters and gengars in forest mansion.

now if you put LG you get pokemon like magby vulpix and weedle and when you take the game out there gone.

Everything you need to know about Pal Park transfering is on serebii.net and wikipedia.com All of the information provided on those site including this one is correct information as far as I know from having the game myself.

I have Pokemon Pearl in Japanese and I also had Fire Red in Japanese and once you choose the six that you want to transfer from the GBA. They are then transfered to D/P via Pal Park...You have to catch them in D/P Pal Park, if you catch them in a fast time you get a special berry.

Once transfered to D/P that pokemon will remain on D/P and CANNOT be transfered back to any of your GBA games. They will remain with the same stats and any hold item that you transfered them with along with original trainer's name.

Additionally. Any of the GBA Pokemon games unclock ceratin pokemon in D/P in areas noted on serebii.net. The only pokemon that are not on D/P and you HAVE to transfer is all pre 4th generation starters and their evolutions and all pre 4th generation Legendaries ie...Mew, Kyogre, Deoxy etc.

Edit:
I hope that helps all understand the Transfering not trading of the GBA pokemon to D/P. If not...you can check out various websites to find the information I just written in a more vast detail and account.

He didn't say you could breed them. And some do have a sex. It's that they don't belong to an egg group. Manaphy, however, can be bred, but the egg will hatch into a Phione, which won't evolve into a Manaphy unfortunately.

It doesn't suck, your pokemon transfering means they can learn new moves. They have new in battle sprites. It's another great way to keep all the pokemon you have raised before.

Let's face it, Sinnoh has so much to do that having your old trained up pokemon and some new ones will be cool. I mean do you really want to play with the new pokemon on the old generation.

to bad you can't trade back. But this also a good thing.

say you have a glitch game i have a glitch emerald with ho-oh mew and lugia.

I'll be able to traid them over and restart my game without losing them.

its a win-win solution ^-^

You can only use generation trade, and duplicating in emerald is easier(america had to patch the duplicating in d/p)
