They're basically the same game with each having its own exclusive pokemon, but if I had to choose I'd pick Diamond because of Dialga.

yeah most people chose diamond because of diamond, there wasn't much diference, they should make the games diferent and then have them connect, like 2 diferent regions

i would say pearl because no offence to diamond but dialga is 1 good pokemon pearl has has a weaker legendary but stronger normals (by normals i mean non-legendaries)

I bought Diamond, but I do prefer some of the Pearl Pokemon more than their Diamond counterparts (ie. Mismagius vs. Honchkrow), and I would love to be able to get Salamence without training. Oh well, too late now.

I choose Pearl and Palkia too me is the stronger of the two. Its basically the same game minus some different norms and the legendary exclusive to the game.

Only reason I decided to get Diamond and not Pearl is because Dialga looks cooler then Palkia. I'm a bit shallow that way lol.

Both are equally good, though they do have some Key differences, just as Dialga/Palkia.

I first got Diamond, then I got Pearl. I just randomly choose one.

I would choose Diamond but I think they should put them in the same like Ruby and Sapphire and then they made Emerald with both.That would be cool.
