encounter codes and shinys?????

if you use the encounter code for say rayquaza...
and you go to say victory road...
and you walk around and encounter rayquaza...
is there any chance the rayquazza could be a shiney....?

or does the encounter code prevent it from being a shiney...

i don't want to waste my time trying to get a shiney rayquaza for nothing.... you know???

oh well i guess it doesn't i just answered my own question.....


i just got a rayquaza that was like greyish black and had a swirl...

this is the first shiney pokemon i have ever caught and i have played a lot of frickin pokemon...like dayzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
