When you throw the pokeball,press the A button right before the ball moves(it moves 3 times and if the pokemon doesn't break free by then, its caught).If you mess up the timing even a little, it may fail.It takes some time to master it, but if you can,it works EVERY time.I've caught extremely strong pokemon with weak ones while training them with just pokeballs.Trust me it works.

it's hold ab when trowing, when it opens release B and holt A + select, cought raquaza and more with 1 ball and full hp
