Anything works in-game. Go with your next highest level Pokemon.

I'd say go with a high level Kadabra or Alakazam. They're fast and have good special attack. Plus, you need a psychic in there anyway, every team does.

Anyone is welcome to use some of my stocks.

It's not necessary,but I'd recommend a Ground type such as Marowak,Dugtrio,etc.

Kadabra/Alakazam has a crap movepool, though.

Hypno doesn't have as much Special Attack, but it has a good balance of Attack and Special Attack, with good defences and a better movepool than Alakazam. Hypno is seriously underrated, and I find it to be better than Alakazam in in-game third gen.

Sometimes, I would take a ground type such as tyranatar, but they die quickly to ice. hypno is pretty strong too, I have one in my team, but I don't have as many starters as you with me. if you have a gameshark or something,a lugia could be useful, which is a physic flying.

You have any psychic pokemon? Kadabra, Drowzee, Alakazam, etc? They are good for fighting ghost types. Elite Four Agatha uses ghost-type pokemon and the only way to defeat them is to use psychic. Well if you already gotten through the four, I recomended you Onix. The sevii islands contain many rocks. So, you have to get at least Strength and Rock Smash and teach 'em to Onix.
Level him up until at least lvl 70, like my Onix (It's now 82, though).

Sorry ludfunkgamer, but you can't post in threads that haven't had a post in over 1 month. It's called a bump and the threads have to be closed.
