Let's break it down:

Hyper Beam does 150 damage over 2 turns, which becomes 75 damage per down on average. It's strong but leaves Charizard vulnerable the second turn if the opponent survives. Its accuracy is 90%, and it has a measly 5 PP

Fly does 70 base damage, and since Charizard is dualled as a flying type, it recieves STAB, making the base damage of Fly 105. Seeing as Fly hits on the 2nd turn, this averages out to 52.5 damage per turn. Less powerful, no doubt, but it has 15 PP and has 95% accuracy.

... in conclusion after all that crap, Fly is the prefered move for Charizard for a physical attack, tho hyper beam is good to finish off opponents, it's not always reliable (10% miss chance is not that low) and it leaves charizard vulnerable to an attack afterwards. While Fly is weaker, it has more pp to last the battle, and that nice 5% more to hit, plus is avoids an attack as you fly up, making it superior to hyper beam on a charizard =D

i hope this has helped =D

(incase you were wondering, charizard should learn fly instead of hyper beam)

i'd say neither!
fly and hyper beam do not fit charizard, AT ALL since charizard is a special attacker, not physical you should think about giving fly to either and hm slave, or another powerful flying type.

and as for hyper beam- raise up a dragonite.

swords dance need to be bred~ but heck its worth it

bleep is right~ but having one physical attack wouldn't hurt against those fkn ugli blisseys... (if it was double edge it'd hurt tho =D ... lame joke)

Hyper beams are the strongest on Snorlax (well, now Slaking, but that hasn't sunk in for me yet) but raising a good one is kinda tricky so yeah bleh, erm... you could give charizard a brick break instead of wing attack if you really think you'll see a fugly blissey, or heck even a tyranitar can be ko'ed

n e wai, i maybe a noob in ruby/sapphire -_-" but dun dis me about the original series >.< ~~~

to defeat blissey you have two options:
1. use physical type attacks (recommending earthquake) because blissey has week defence or...
2. use fire type attacks because if you burn blissey, blissey hps wont help itself, because burn does the same PERCENTAGE of health no matter how much health your opponent has

blissey- use powerful fighting attacks.

dont bother with special, blissey's special defense stat is OFF THE CHARTS! It can reach 394, and with a 714 potential HP, its pretty stupid to attack with special attacks. NOW WITH ITS PHYSICAL DEFENSE, its a different story. only a base of 10, which i believe forces a MAXIMUM of a 100-120 defense, which is worse than DEOXYS. but its HP, is something that you may have trouble with...
