Golbat to Crobat

Ok well i have trained up my Golbat to level 32 so far and it has attempted to evolve, it's happiness is high as it is meant to to evolve and i see nothing wrong. However when it starts trying to evolve it stops and goes ...? I am not pressing any buttons during the evolution. Why is this happening and why is it not evolving? The only thing i can think of is that i have not got the nationaldex yet (I just reached Lavender town) All help appreciated, thanx.

Yeah, you need the national dex for any pokemon that arent in the original 151.

Yes, it also happeneed with my chansey (DANG! I had 20 pokemon caught, so I went on a big pokemon catching quest lol), so you must have caught 60 pokemon, AFTER that beat the elite four, and then you'll get the national dex.

You did the friendship part now for the pokedex upgrade
I suggest hunting in the safari zone and look for easy pokemon to catch

If it isnt too hard get a scyther form the game corner and train it to 30+; so when you see a wild pokemon false swipe and throw pokeball

To get a Crobat easy; Just give it all stats growers, and it should evolve in any moment to Crobat

u have to also level it up

he already did the friendship part he leveled it up but he needs his National Pokedex

Oh, OK; then try trading pokemon from Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald.

no h15s is right. he has to get the ruby and sapphire items.
