who is better gallade or lucario | Pokemon General Series Board Forums

i chose gallade he has awsome moves and he looks way cool in shiny(iv got him in shiny on pokemon diamond)

I think they are both great but if i had to pick one, i would chose lucario because i went through a good portion of diamond and platinum with him leading my team and he rarely got KO'd. But later on in the game, like in the battle frontier, Gallade is reallly fun to have. They can both learn close combat and thats awesome!

Lucario all the way, Gallade is good but Lucario was better Atk and SpAtk the Gallade

Competitively, Lucario. Lucario has a better movepool, more resistances, and is simply easier to use.

Lucario is a very good pokemon, and has a very good move pool, but he is also a steel type so any fire type or something that knows a fire type move could nearly KO or KO him. If it is faster. Gallade is also and amazing pokemon and can take hits pretty well and he is also a phscic type and can take out other fighting types.

Honestly before BW2 I would have said Lucario but now Gallade is my choice. He has awesome stats & access to a wide variety of moves including Will O Wisp & Bulk Up . You can run a Sp Def Gallade & Bulk Up to boost both Attack & Defense. Shadow Sneak & Drain Punch access as well. He can own Lucario!
