My son and were discussing this. we were wondering how a pokemon egg and/or pokemon actually fit in side of a pokeball. we were wondering what some other people thoughts were on this matter.

The pokemon's particles are disrupted long enough for it to get into the pokeball. Once it closes, the pokemon's particles reformat into a smaller size so that it fits in the pokeball.

That''s my theory.

Also, moving to correct forum.

They're cut up into a million pieces of pixels when hit by the red laser that summons them into the pokeball, and then there's a magnet inside the poke ball that attracts the pixelized pokemon. And then when they get released, the oxygen in the air automatically puts them back together.

Smile

Highly unlikely, not to mention I haven't played pokemon in ages... But I believe this would be better off in the Pokemon General Series Board forum?

Edit: Latepost, but I see it's already been moved.

Hmmm...thought this would be some stupid spam thread but no it's actually a purdy neat question.

I think they mighta invented some way (like a form of energy) that turns pokemon into energy which can be stored within a PokeBall (cause they're desigend to do that), then when they get called out tha PokeBall then transforms tha energy (Pokemon) back into a pokemon. That's just my two cents...

i like your therey on this subject coachcline. i was thinking along the same lines. it is realy the only thing that would make any sencs. it would have to be some kind of mater energy trnasversen for them to fit in a small ball like that.

that is a valid and interesting theory. how would the make the necessary equipment to do that fit in to so small a space though?

My question, what does the pokeball run on. Rechargable batteries that get recharged at the pokemon center?

Well they must be more advanced than us since they can transfer pokemon over long distances (we've only been known to teleport one particle) and they can put huge pokemon into smalls spheres. They're advanced.

Not too advance. But we're getting off topic.

no its not off topic we are disscusing the pokeballs and that is a valid question i think it has some kind of power scorces that must get recharged at the pokecenter but all so has to run off of a scores like sun or moon. yes in the cartoons they do not look all that tecnologicaly advanced do they.

If you ever watch the banned episode of "Porygon Electric Soldier" and Movie 7 "Destiny Deoxys", you can see that they can transform the matter into information inside computer, transfer it to another place with Internet (?). And Pokeball is powered by that system, and is simply a "destination" for the Pokemon to convert from data into matter.

And it's humanly impossible...

I've been trying to figure out myself and been reading some pages to find out. I'm not sure exactly how they work Think, but mainly everything I've been reading has to do with matter-to-energy conversions.

You can just google "how pokeballs work". You should get a lot of info. Hope that helps!Thumbs Up
