on gameboy, the counter stops counting how many times you beat the elite four at 200, so thats where i stand

I suppose if Gold/Silver was the only game I owned then I'd have done it that many times.

in my crystal version i have beaten them 89 times......

I figured out mine. In Gold I beat them once and in Silver I beat them twice. Amazing!

I doubt I'll ever catch you guys up since I play many oher games, especially the best game of all time Final Fantasy VII, but I'm working on beating them again in Gold.

Really? It's a PS1 game so it can't be very expensive. I'll be surprised if I can find a pre-owned copy of it for more than �10.00. But I don't how New Zealand dollars would be compared to British pounds.

10 pounds is about 25-30 new zealand dollars...

on sapphire, ive only done it about 10 times, same for leaf green...

I prefer Leaf Green and Fire Red to Gold and Silver. I dunno why. I think the starters in Gold and Silver are a bit plain and boring. Exept Feraligatr.
