when i find any one of them they just run and i never have time to catch them. i have tryed throwing a ball at them but they just break free and run. how do you catch them??

Get a fast Pokemon with a sleeping move.

and make sure your pokemon is under lvl 40 but higher then the pokemon in the wild, and use a repel cause it very unlikely that you wont see them if the wild pokemon keeps getting in your way

There is a lot of ways to do it here are some steps.
1= get quick claw from the lady in the park.
2= get a gastly or a pokemon that knows mean look and raise it until it's around level 40.
3= get a syther or a pokemon that knoes false swipe and train iy around level 40.
4= get lots of repel of some sort.
5= get lots of ultra balls or what works beat for you.
6= give the pokemon that knows mean look, quick claw.
7= walk in the grass with the pokemon that knows mean look. leading your party.
8=A-if you do not find it within 15 seconds move to another city and go back. B-if you do find it,if your lucky you will get to use mean look on it so it can't escape.
9=now after you use mean look on it switch your pokemon to the pokemon that knows false swipe so it wont faint,then put it to sleep [if you can]
10=now throw whatever balls you have at it. Ultra balls worked for me.

Mean Look isn't that good. They just use Roar.
