how do you get stones?? eg fire stone, water stone etc.

To get the stones...I think you have to go to bill's house in Kanto... and then he will ask you show him some pokemon...and then you show them to him and he will give you stones.
Here are some I know
Likitung-Moon Stone
Pichu-Thunder stone
P.S. I know that the guy will give you those stones...but I am not sure if those are correct and there are a lot more than I listed.

You need to show pokemon to Bill, he askes and you need to go get it and he gives you the stones if he see's the one he asked for.

One of them is Oddish an' I thing Subbull might be one too but I'm not sure.
