Oh my God, I love the National Park so much. It was so cool, especially how they had those bug-catching contests! I would use cheats and catch Bulbasaurs and similar Pok�mon, lol. Ahh, yes, Johto was what made me happiest. I never felt as refreshed as when I was playing Gold and Silver.

I loved the National Park too.

I always liked Johto's usage of time and days. It was so cool how you could find certain Pok�mon at different times of the day when it was first introduced. That's what hooked me the most, I'd say. That, and the fact that Junichi Masuda made his best electronic soundtrack with the Johto games.

I liked Johto so much, I'm going to start an appreciation thread.

Well never been to Johto, but I do like the night and day factors I have experienced with Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. Since it originated with HG/SS originals I will definately love for that feature to remain present. I like to see how it looks as the time does in real life. Sometimes when I am playing my DS the only way I know what time it is outside is when my DS screen changes from its bright morning hue to its orange and then dark hue.

Johto is the best region out of the 4. When the remakes come out, you have to get a copy.

Heh, it's been a while, Pity.

Johto had the best usage of time. They would have certain activities on certain days, certain items available to be handed out (i.e. Tuscany of Tuesday would hand out a free item, don't remember which) on certain days of the week, and most importantly, Pok�mon appearances were first being separated into times.
Johto also had the coolest story line. You could travel around Johto and Kanto--three years into the future, when everything's changed. It's so fun; you can even collect their Gym Leaders' badges!

Do you see why it was such a great region, though? (And yeah, I promise to end this after this post, but then again you brought it up, lol.) Also, if you visit my Johto appreciation thread, I can go more into detail and better explain my love for the particular region...if you're interested, anyway.

I do wonder though if the sprites will be all new.

TBH I hope they do new sprites, AND add Sinnoh and Hoenn pokemon. It would just make it better, TBH (Obviously have more Jhoto pokemon)
