Anybody remember the Pokemon Box for GBA games? For anyone who doesn't know, it was a game with a bunch of extra boxes to keep your GBA Pokemon in.

I think it might be a good idea to have one on the Wii for HG/SS. It wouldn't hurt, and with about 500 Pokemon (I think) to collect, it might actually be useful.

What do you think?

As far as my knowledge extends, the previous one was never released in Europe and I wouldn't have bought it even if it were. There are enough storage spaces in your PC box for 487 pokemon, so therefore it is a waste of money, unless you want another Pikachu with Surf (and with his now expanded movepool, nobody really does).

I'd be a good asset but I wouldn't use it. Heck, I didn't even use the one for Ruby and Sapphire!

Ah, I dodn't even think about ranch.

Still, it wouldn't hurt. And Nintendo could make an extra buck.

Stole my image, dammit. :/

The ranch for Plat never came out in America, so they could wait and include it for HG/SS. I'd also like to see a Game Boy Player-esque thing that would let you play your game on the Wii.

I have Pokemon Box, I love the Linoone I got from it. I thought what Ranch was but we still haven't received our patch update for it since Platinum came out in the U.S. What gives? I guess they really are waiting for HG/SS release so they can run the patch just one time. I also liked playing my GBA games on the big screen that was really cool. I played Sapp & Ruby all the time that way. I have a bigger and better T.V. now that would so rock.

A 'DS Player' feature for the Wii would be excellent, but how would the touch screen work?

You point the remote at the screen. Push the A button to tap the screen, or hold it and move the Wii Remote to draw a line.

Or buy a touch screen TV.

My platinum boxes are nearly full. I swear that if the Ranch patch isn't released soon, I'm going to kill somehting.

I loved pokemon box, until I sold it. It was great until my memory card killed itself :_c I lost all of my best pokemon. But I assume we'll just see a Ranch update for HG/SS.

To be honest, the boxes have enough space for 493 Pokmon. And even if there are 100 more, are you really going to have every Pokmon in your box? I don't keep every Pokmon I catch. Hell, if I did that, my PC would be overrun with weaklings like Silcoons and Bidoofs! Besides, do the math!

So, you're going to pass up the chance to get a few of each legendaries, let a shiny run away, and throw out all your breeders? If you're really into the game, you're going to have more than one of each Pokemon.

Ryuujin - Weaklings like Bidoof? You cannot seriously be insulting Bibarel?

nintendo dude - Why would anyone want more than one of each legendary unless they were opening up an online pokemon shop? Also, whilst breeding is useful, you don't need two of each pokemon in existance. If you run out of space, trade them to SoulSilver. It's that easy, unless you're not buying both (which means you can't get Gengar, Scizor, Machamp, Alakazam, Golem and [other not-so-good] friends).

i think its a good idea but the only problem i see is that it would cost wii pointsand you already bought the pokemon ranch. So i think that nintendo should have an upgrade of pokemon ranch for free

d96 - That would work.

Yeah but only people who suck use legendaries in-game. They take the fun out of everything and grow at snails' pace.

They grow at snails' pace because it would be cheap if they got any better. But, yes, while most stink in-game, others are good to use, like Rayquaza. They don't take the fun out of everything because they grow so slow.

...You're kidding, right?
You're saying that just because I don't care to have 2 of every Pokmon, I'm not into the game. You're saying that only people who are actually into the game are going to have two Caterpies. Two Silcoons. Two Starlys.
I'm not stupid like you evidently are. I wouldn't get 2 of each Pokmon just to prove I'm a die-hard fan, when in all honesty I'm not--nor would you have to do something as ridiculous as that to make a point.
I'm not wasting my money on a separate game just for a f***ing BOX when I have more than enough space in my game already.
Arguing, making your point actually worth listening to... You're quite bad at it.

It also makes the game way too easy, and then it just gets boring.
