Does anyone remember the Mail option? Back then you could actually type what you wanted to write, instead of choosing select words & phrases. I hope they bring that back!

I don't know what you're talking about. I guess it'd be nice to be able to write your own mail, but if they were going to implement it again, they would have done it in 3rd gen. Instead they put on their kiddie gloves and made the best insult in there nitwit(which was removed in 4th gen too >_>).

Instead of choosing those words, you could pick individual letters and symbols. I know it's not much, but I hope they bring it back anyway. It would make it feel more like the old game.
