Vermillion City

As promised, here it is.


After getting off the S.S. Aqua, you arrive at the Vermillion Harbor. Go north through this building to get to the main city.


Before you reach the heart of the city, you're stopped by Suicune. Eusine randomly teleports from Johto to Kanto in the blink of an eye just to get a picture of Suicune to pleasure himself to later.


This is the center of the town. To the left is the Pok�mon center; to the south is the Gym and the Pok�Mart, and to the right is the old man and his Machop...still tenderizing the ground, after 3 years...

And then we meet G.I. Joe...I mean Lieutenant Surge. He now has a total of 5 Pok�mon, ranging from Level 48 to 53, if memory serves.

Vermillion looks nice this time around.

Looks pretty awesome.

Are the cities/towns bigger in this game? Vermillion looks bigger than usual. Just wondering if all of the cities/towns are little bigger.

^Since they have more memory to work with, I would imagine so.

The city is a bit bigger, yes. They extended the Machop area in Vermillion.

I've gone to Saffron, however. It's not any different.

Saffron was pretty big already, though, right? I assume the smaller locations were enlarged.

You can't help but like the old guy and his Machop. What happens first? Will he sell the plot of land (or whatever he's doing), die of old age or will his Machop evolve due to three years' experience of stomping around.

That old dude was my favorite part about the city. <: !!!

Well his legs must be strong if he can stand there for 3 years straight.

You have to give him credit, he's one determined old man.

I seriously hope the game looks better when you play than it does in those pictures.

Well, the pictures were expanded a little by me so they'd be easier to examine, and I added a white fuzzy border, so yes, they'll look much better.

Well the city looks bigger and more glossy but is the structure of the city same?

There's a slight change to the east end of the city, but everything's where it used to be. Just a bit of a change in landscape.

I'm sorry three years? It's been thirteen years since that man and his machop were first released in japan on pokemon Blue.

All the cities are really beautiful. I was in awe of how they really beefed up the graphics and to see Kanto in this new light it's simply beautiful. My favorite city so far from Kanto is Vermilion actually its really nice. The waves crashing, the boat dock. really cool. The train ride from Kanto to Johto is also really cool.
