Route 47 is one of 2 [this being the larger] routes needed to take in order to get to the Safari Zone. As well as containing the resting place of up to 2 legendary Pokmon, this path is absolutely stunning.
First, you'll probably want to know where exactly this route is, since it's a new addition. This is the view on the PokGear.
In Cianwood, there's a
new cave in the upper-left part of the island. You must go through
this to get to Route 47, and eventually the Safari Zone. Although it's not so much a cave, but more like a manmade tunnel.
This is where you enter
Route 47.
There are even more tunnels, as shown in the last picture in this paragraph, in Route 47, although this time they take you to the
lower and
upper levels of the route.
This is the
lower-level tunnel that leads you to the waterfront.
The majority of the route is mountains and water. You'll be
surfing a lot, believe me.
To get to Route 48, you need to go west from the upper level of the route [3 pictures up]. There's a
waterfall there, but don't be fooled--it leads to a dead-end. All you benefit from going up it is getting an item.
