Im using a vgba app on my tab. I used an 'in app' cheatopedia cheat to get a lotad before pewter city. Im currently battling golems in viridian forrest. I level up my lotad to 14 then 15 and both times during evolution a message appears and says "?" And i dont know why. All help welcomed and thanked.

That happened because the game doesn't want you to even have that pokemon in your party. That happened to me when i tried to evolve a beldum on my firered version. It said "...?", but i knew why. Do you have the national dex?

Thanks. I've only just started and have beat brock. I dont have the national dex yet.
