No it's not, you need to have alot of Patience. It wilmore than likely run in the first turn so just throw a ball and hope for the best.

Yea you can throw a couple rocks at it, I usually press A when it hits the pokemon and it usually stays.

I guess I'm completely backwards, but I caught Chansey way easier than Kangaskhan, which I'm in the process of trying to catch. It's been miserable. And I haven't even SEEN a Tauros yet, and I'm already at 70 game hours! No matter what I do, the Kangaskhan always runs at the very start.

i caught three kangasghan with this trick what you need to do is to tap the A button right b4 the ball closes, then after it closes tap AAB AAB AAB until the pokemon is caught, it works every time, i even caught zapdos moltres and articuno with great and pokeballs with this little trick

You can catch Kangaskhan in the Safari Zone. It may take a while to find though.

Some people just lucky i cought 13 of them in just 4 times entering the safari zone

I've ran into about 40 and still haven't caught one, but then my one lucky day came(after a LOT of swearing and frustration) and eventually catching them was piece of cake :3
