Hi! I have a question, I have all the friend areas (besides a few legendary areas) so I can recruit almost every pokemon. Yet, for example, I'm in Mt.Freeze. I see a jynx. When I look at the potential recruits page, its not there, it says none. I have its friend area!!! Why can't I recruit it????

Maybe you dont have that friend area yet. You unlock more when you beat story moad that could be why

No it is not a glitch but you may have just not have something try recruiting it maby it will be added like because you havnt realy seen it

I doubt the glitch theory but I don't see why it wont join you. (you have frigid cavern right?)

Yeah you have to have the friend area. You can recruit I have recruited one before

Except for the legendaries though. You can recruit them without getting their friend area first.

Well... I know about the legendaries, but, I have seen jynxes a lot and many others when this happens. Also, Gengar is weak. I know this is random, but, I was escourting him in murkey cave and I had to use ten revival seeds on him. 10!!!!!!!!!!! He deserved to die.

the reason you can't get jynx is because it's a final evolved form of a pokemon. you can't befriend pokemon in their final state of evolution. except for shiftry (because team shiftry) tentacruel, octillery, cradily (team constrictor) and golem (team rumblerock). you need to get smoochum to get jynx. I just forgot about this a few days ago but I know now, and so do you. =D;):-)

You can also get the final evolutions of the water starters. Blastoise, Fariligatr, and Swampert. They are caught at the near the end of the western cave.
It's not a glitch. Some pokemon can't be caught just because you see it in a dungeon. Jynx can only be caught by evolving Smoochum which is found in the Joyous Tower Floors 21-25.

Smoochums are an incredible pain in the but to try and befriend, it's hard enough just to beat them in general, but befriend them, holy moly thats a spicy meatball!
