ok so i wanted to unlock northern range it said have southern island as a friend area to unlock it but i did get southern island but i dont have northern range and i wasted 9500 poke so please tell me whats wrong

um no because i cant get to latias or latios because i dont have the right place and the right place to find them is northern range which its not giving me so it hast been anwsered

It's not the rank. The more dungeons you do, the rank points you have, the more stuff gets unlocked. Here, to not worry you, just keep doing random dungeons until you get it.

you dont need surf to get there wich is weird but you have to have surf for the sein to happen[color=red] im back after a long break

you need surf and southern island friend area and then just do random missions, and they do have to be misssions, you can't just go somewhere like tiny woods, unless you have a mission for it.
