Rare Pokémon Discussion: List of Legendaries on first post: Updated 6/29/07

Ok... Here is a small guide to help get rare/legendary pokemon:


Lvl 90+

Friend bow

RANK DOES HELP... I can prove it its in my book, and it helps me ALOT...

Mew:
Beat all three regis and get music box then it will appear randomly from floor 36-98 and it is random how many times it appears

Groudon:

This one is hard. Save at magma cavern mid and when you kill him, if he doesn't join just shut the game off and on and you'll be at mid again.

Rayquaza:

Pretty much the same as groudon; save at sky tower mid.

Kyogre:

Fairly easy had 50% chance. Just go up stormy sea until you get him.

Regis:

Must have killed them before and have either the music box or the piece that you got from them. Just go up buried relic with escape orbs (that way you don't have to drag them all the way through) until you get them.

(off-topic kinda) hey i was training for other dungeons, and after awhile buried relic isnt on my dungeon list anymore! so.. i want mew..do i talk to the people in pokemon square again? please help me!

well there seems to be a glitch because once i unlocked it .it always stayed.

well if getting mew means everything start again

that stinks! well all i can tell you is that you should restart, or forget mew. mews not really all that great though so it's your choice. try waiting a few days (game time)and then try to find buried relic (if it's not there, it must have gotten buried! (okay so that was lame...)

ahh my avatar went bye bye!.. ok but anyway.. i got the rainbow wing off to get lugia soon(ps. i love joyous tower i love getting joy seeds, proteins not useing them and then esape orbing and useing the items while not in lvl 1 dungeon) p.s.s. dont really wanna resart. so mew.. ehh.. he can stuff it!....oh and who is at the 99 floor of joyous tower(dont know the exact floor number)

ahhhhh!! omg on the front page it says ho-oh has a 99.9% chance to join i brought two stars pokemon and i have platinum rank. why didnt he join?!... and sorry for the double post im mad!?!

Oblivionownage,please do not double post and please edit your posts and btw,DC,which book of yours told you that the rank does matter with the recruitment rate?my guidebook does not specify that.

He doesn't join the first time because that time, its your mission to go there and explore. After that you can go and recruit him.

Where do you get Guide books? O.o

ho-oh does not have a 99.99% recruit rate. it's lower then that, but I don't know exactly what it is.

I fought him like five times then he joined. I cant believe I got Deoxys on the first try!=)

I have just wanted to say somethingnow.. im playing my red rescue team game.. going for regis right.. i found a sure fire way of getting them instantly!

All you need is this..

Lv 100 leader
go alone
have 3 music boxes
have friend bow..

everytime you fight the 3 regis.. they should join you on the instant you knock them out.. i just did it in red rescue team literally now! loll i have regirock regice and registeel

cool lugia, Ho-Oh, and deoxys on the first go got a lvl 76 umbreon as my leader (want lvl 100) almost diamond rank.. love deoxys =]=]=]

oh cool it did work i got regirock but crap! i forgot escape orb and i dont wanna escort him to the 99 floor? what do i do?

there is probably an escape orb some where on the next few floors.

It's 99.9 % ... not that it makes much of a difference.

serebii changed ho-ohs recruit rate. when I first checked it was like 50, and it took me three tries with a friend bow at level 100, to get ho-oh. any further questions about legendaries, please be directed to the topic how to get friend area legendary island? it has all your answers, and if not, please ask questions there.
