Most starters can be found in Joyous Tower. Charmander can be found in Fiery Field. Water starters can be found in Waterfall Cave. Meowth can be found in Western Cave. Cubone can be found in Southern Cavern.

Be careful when you go into Joyous Tower, though. If your backed into a corner, it could mean the end of you...if you didn't bring an Escape Orb.
