Rank doesn't make any difference whatsoever. However, if you have the Golden Mask/Amber Tear, have your leader hold them. They maximize the chances for pokemon to join you. Also, try having a leader with the IQ skill "Fast Friend". Finally, be the highest level you can. It helps.

By the way, Darkrai/Mewtwo both have base recruitment chances of -22/100. So, if you aren't using any of these tips, it isn't possible to recruit him. Unfortuneately, I don't know exactly how much these tips will raise your chances. Sorry.

I don't think it make's a difference because i'm on the third rank

i have a level 91 typhlosion hold the amber tear and i think he has fast friend.if he doesnt, my level 93 feraligatr does.so youre saying that i should use feraligatr?i know he should hold the amber tear,because he usually is the leader and all.i have now beaten darkrai about 10 times, i think.

Neither 2 Pokemon has Fast Friend IQ Skill, as I know.

It's possible to recruit them if you are Lv100 and have those hold item to raise your rescue chance, but the chance is slim.

No, it just means that persistince and determination are the only things that will get him...and a little luck. Follow these tips, and he will join you eventually.

Don't you need a Mytery Part or Secret slap, I had two mytery parts, and when I got to Miricle Sea floor 3 I searched the entire floor, and nothing. I even used the Mystery part and it disapeared (Lucky I had an extra one )

Did you search EVERYwhere? Even inside the walls? e_E

Ive Been Trying to get Darkrai with my Lv.100 Rotom (I always use Rotom to recruit legendarys) and a Friend Bow. Ive killed it 27 times already (yea I kept count).

so mewtwo is the same as darkrai when you try to find them?

ok, so i need a Secret Slab or Mystery Part them to appear, then i need to go to the many dungeons to locate them? is darkrai the only one that does that?

you dont need to go to all of those dungeons to find him. just one of them.and yes he is the only legendary to appear in five places.
