Pikachu and treecko

i have completed the game many a times, for me the best group to go with is Mudkip and Bulbasaur
Mainly because mudkip learns ground type moves and once evolved is pretty much immune to lightning!
Bulbasaur gets razorleaf which is really powerful and works at range.

I would recomend cubone and pikachu beacuse cubone can learn flamethrower and ice beam and pikachu is good on it learns the move on lv26 dont remember the name of the move hope this helped

machop n charmander

I am an evee and my partner is a cyndaquil. I know I have got lots of weaknesses but I am a REALLY HIGH LEVEL!

I have cubone as starter and pick treecko ground type is cool electric no effect on it and grass can beat most of ground type weaknesses just a little trouble on flying ::D

I picked eevee as starter and mudkip as partner .With high iq skills they can both get everywhere and once evolved they rock

cyndaquil and chicorita is the best combination . plus you can get totodile.in wyvern hill

i got mudkip and parther is charmander strong team took one day to get to groudon

A good set would be
bulbasaur and chamander,
mudkip and bulbasaur and
squirtle and chamander.

I tried completing the game with every combo of starting pokemon but only manged completing it with these few.The rest of the combos got stuck one way or another.

Though this should only be taken as reference,as it really depends on preference.Hope this helps.

I use machop as player and pikachu as my partner bro. Its easy if you can get advantage point. i choose fighting and electric always so machop and pikachu is an easy choice for me@

Try to get Cyndaquil as ge can help with legendaries using his smokescreen attack whicb makes enemies miss for 3 to 4 turns. Choose either Chikorita or Bulbasaur as they deal with water, rock and ground types which are effective against fire type. I chose Bulbasaur. xD

I use machop and pikachu and took down rayquaza in 3 hits so I would recommend them
