Whats the best fire pokemon ever?

What's the point of this thread? Did you want people's opinion on fire pokemon or you just felt like proclaiming your love for Charizard to the world?

lilman don't make pointless posts.
But I think the best fire pokemon are Charizard and Typhlosion, just because of the moves they learn and Charizards typing allows him to take out flying types while being imune to EQ.

Well that's a little mindless and basic a question, but i'm quite fond of magmar.

Pure fire types are known as the most useless type in the game... it would have been normal, but normal types have the pleasure of harboring some of the most powerful pokemon in competitive play... decent fire types are usually dual types. Zard is indeed one of them, but thanks to Stealth Rock, it's no longer the OU it rightfully deserves to be.

They're weak to rock/ground, arguably the two most common physical moves carried on sweepers.

Pair that with horrible defense in general, and you've got a horrible type that's hard to switch in.

Electric types are arguably worse, but the useful ones are quite a cut above the useful fires...

actualy the best fire pokemon is Ho-Oh unless u mean non legendary or pure fire then it would be typlosion if pure fire or Charizard non legendary

Actually Arceus with the fire plate is the best

Now in asnwering the question. I would say Typhlosion. He can take a full on Hydro Cannon and still stand up to give out his share of damage in return. In my opinion.

I still think Charizard is awesome, I would say Infernape, but it's defence is horrible, and we already have a fire fighting pokemon.
