RE: Rotom; Legend or Not?

Rotom is officially not a legendary, I forget the reason why though.

Although Rotom is Genderless it can breed, it isn't a legendary in my opinion, it's just a one off pokemon.

I don't think Rotom is legendary, because, like everyone else has said, he can breed. He is Genderless though... but still. He is probably in the same catagory as Drifloon, being that he is just 1 of a kind. His stats are pitiful for a legendary (pitiful for a pokemon, more apppropriately)

Proof that he is bad (off topic) I have a lvl 100 Rotom, and it got killed by a lvl 70 Tyranitar. Hows that for sad?

I have said before that Drifloon is not one of a kind. He appears in front of the Wind Works every Friday.

That's just a Pokedex description. They aren't really legendaries.

If the Tyranitar did it's job correctly, of course it's going to win. A couple Crunches and it's over.

If you lost by any other way than Crunch or even Shadow Claw, I'd like to hear it. There simply isn't much else excuse. Rotom itself is not that bad.

ok guys i finally can have some input on this topic, i met rotom, i believe that rotom is not a legendary, because you find him at lvl 15.

I don't believe that its not a legendary because its level 15. If i recall, Mew was caught at lv 15 in either the original R, Y, & B or Fire Red and Leaf Green (or both) and is still considered as a legend.

Mew's is impossible to be caught at lvl 15, without hacking. I don't think Rotom is a legend because it can breed.

I think it was level 18.

Either way, the point is that the level doesn't determine whether a poke is legendary or not.

Status wise, I suppose you can argue he's far from strong enough. You'd also be placing Mew in the non-legendary area with that one, though.

The music doesn't prove anything. Cresselia doesn't have the legendary music, although it's a legend.

He is just one of those peculiar pokemon in the game. Like Lapras & Castform. Nothing really special and not really legendary.

You don't need music to classify it as a legendary. I don't even use the term "legendary" anymore because they're the same as any other Pok�mon except they're one-of-a-kind.

Oh wait, in Red, Blue and Yellow, you can only get one Eevee. Is Eevee "legendary?" No.

Oh wait, Manaphy can breed, is it "legendary?" Yes.

My opinion, it's what people call legendary.

That's true. A lv 1 poke has more potential than a Legendary if you raise it right.

If what everyone's saying is true about Rotom being able to breed, then that proves he's not a legendary.

So as of right now, I say Rotom isn't a legendary.

ok just because the music indicates it is legendary does not mean it is a legendary, it just means that it has cool music, oh and also just because it is genderless does not mean it is legendary i no that this has been posted many times but ROTOM CAN BREED, i mean bronzor is genderless and it can bread and it isn't a legendary

i say its legendary because all of the pokemon not in the sinnoh dex are either legendary or some sort of evolution of a previous generation pokemon. since rotom has no evolutions it must be legendary
