RE: Rotom; Legend or Not?

So wait, just because Heracross doesn't evolve, does that make it legendary? No.
It isn't legendary, it has the music to show it's rare, it's like Lapras and Eevee from the originals, a one off.

I agree with pooly, its not a legendary,you just only get the chnace to get it once, its rare, its terrible stats show it can't be a to good legendary and for all talking about mews stats, it was one of the original legendaries so its stats aint gonna be the best

And when did the myth that if a pokemon doesn't evolve it is legendary? There are quite alot of pokemon who don't evolve who aren't legendary.

It's just a known fact that the legends don't evolve. The characters have said it countless times in the game. Besides it doesn't matter what the stats are. It's how you use the pokemon to your advantage. Really I don't care if he is legend or not. He works well for me. That does not mean you can fight me while I use a rotom for I don't have a wi-fi connector for my ds.

I consider Rotom a legendary. I mean, if you only find it once, it's gotta be a legendary.

Seriously though, Pinsir, Heracross, Delibird, none evolve, none are legendary or ubers.

I think Rotom is a legendary. Cuz its counted as one of the most Rarest Pokemon.

"Rare" and "Legend" are two different things. For example: Metagross is rare, but not a legend. It can't breed, so it automatically makes it "rare" (if they can't be found in the wild, which they can't). But it isnt a legend.

Rotom is NOT a legend i hate it when people argue about this....go to serebii.net it tells you everything go to D&P then Legendaries it'll show you every legendary you can catch on D&P. (not including pal park pokemon) This will and i repeat this will end the debate. Your Welcome

Lapras can be only seen once if you think about it.. Or at least every once in awhile. Same with fossile like things, they can only be encountered with once. Rotom is NOT a legend, but I agree with some facts that it might be.

Rotom is a legend because it appers in a story like all others do
at old chatue the grass gym leader comes and says theres a story of the ghost pokemon of old chatue

Rotom isn't legendary. Just because it does the entering battle thing like a legendary, doesn't mean it is a legendary. I mean, look at Cresselia. It doesn't have the same thing battle thing like a Legendary, does that mean it isn't a legendary?.

id say hes a rare pokemon not a legendary

I vote that Rotom IS a legendery(i dont know how to spell worth crap) anyway, aside from the fact of the comments of Rotom's : Legend or Not ....what are the results so far?

It doesn't have to evolve to be a legendary but like I said it is a known fact that legends don't evolve. You replay the story of the game and tell me what you think. Now rotom is a legend for it is in somewhat of a hidden spot like some legends are (not the story line legends). It also plays the music. Sure the stats are lower like most legends but as I said before it's not the stats it's how you use the pokemon.

I'll concede the music topic. However being a hidden pokemon makes you RARE, not legendary. Furthermore I consider breedable pokemon to be instantly non-legendary. Thats just my take on Rotom.

That does not mean its legendary.
take Pokemon Collosseum for an example. you get ONE chance to steal a blaziken. it does not evolve and you got ONE chance. along with any other pokemon. a last example pokemon emerald you get ONE chance to get it, it doesn't evolve, and its got its own theme music and you can't breed it. so HAH!
