Palkiadude it varys on which kind of situation you are in. For example, if you are in a cave a dusk ball would be quite satisfactory , if you are on the start of the battle then a quick ball would be the best. A luxury ball is just a ball that makes a pokemon more friendly, so just use a ball in the right situation you are in. However if you are asking in general, then my opinon would be the Ultra ball.

yeah i knew all that but i try to catch my pokemon on good-lookin pokeballs for PBR almost every pokemon i got is in a premier balls cuz that balls design is plain but red and white if you ask me good color combo when i tryed to catch palkia in a premier ball i had 99 of em and 10 extra

I generaly stick to using Dusk Balls during the night, it managed to catch my Palkia at about 1/4 health left over, so I knew it was good.

about the heal ball does it only heal your pokemon when caught or everytime you recall it back?

ahhhhh thats kinda lame but its kinda usefull yet very girly looking O_o
but i only got an onix in it so.....oh yeah i caught a zubat in one to i called him zoomzoom =) anyway yes the heal ball si usefull an is a cool pokeball and thanks again inferno =) | ||

I usually use quick balls but I don't like the way they look. I use Luxury balls when I'm catching one that needs to be happy in order to evolve but the balls do look awesome. I think I used a heal ball once or maybe twice near the start. When I'm in a cave or if it's night I mostly forget and use a quick ball anyway.

I use a timer ball for my long battles like a legend, I use a dusk ball in a cave or at night and for some legends in a cave. And a quick ball to catch weak pokemon quick. Also, some side information I got from GameFaqs(I'm paraphrasing) is that a dusk ball has a x4 catch rate when it's dark. After 4 turns, a Timer ball will have a x4 catch rate. And a quick ball will have a x4 at the beginning. And an Ultra ball only has a x2 times catch rate. So, Ultra ball is not the best.
Side Note: My brother caught Palkia with one quick ball. Super Smash Bros. Brawl

rust45 nice info there i caught palkiain a premeir ball wich has the same catch rate as a pokeball (but just looks cooler) and i wasnt braggin
btw i think the quick ball is ok like rust said you use for weak pokemon using it for ledgens well that makes it to easy anyway keep up the postingi think i learns something everyday with this also happy catching =) | ||
