I caught Giratina in the Distortion World. Can't remember what ball I used, but I think it was either a Dusk Ball or a Pok� Ball.

I caught Giratina in 8 tries and i finally got it with a poke ball. It had about 10 hp left and it was frozen by my froslass

It was easy for me, I gave my pokemon really crudy moves and used pp UPS and HP ups, and defence medicine, THEN AFTER ABOUT 2 minutes of using tickle and false swipe, 1 pokeball was all it took. 3 wiggles and ding, he was mine. Easeist legend to catch, but then I accidently turned the game off without saving, so i rebattled him and killed him purposely, then I traded a manaphy to one of my friends to get giritina, nothing done right once he caught it.(I have like 8 pokemon rangers so I don't really care about them)

8 Pokemon Rangers? I really hope you mean 8 Manaphys cause if you mean 8 of the actual game then that is truly sad.
