VBA on computer

I use the Visual Boy Advance ( it's the BGA emulator program) on my computer. It allows me to play any Gameboy game ever made right on my computer. I even allows me to input codebreaker codes, gameshark codes, cheats, or type in my own codes using a hexadecimal system. It's worked perfectly with evrey game I've tried except Pokemon Platinum. No matter the source of the game download, the codes, cheats, none of them work. You can't press L and R in pokemon platinum so I can't press it on my computer. Is there anyone that know how to get infinite money, masterballs and rare candies on this emulator without having to trigger it with L and R?
