Hmm..I think they should add new features for your Rival, like new pokemon cause it got boring >.>.
And maybe each time you visit the Elite 4 there pokemon change and get stronger.
Like in FR/LG when they got new pokemon from Hoenn.

It has changed, I think because Girantina is actually part of the proper story line so it must have changed.

Yeah, Giratina's finally gettin' tha respect he deserves. But, just like Rayquaza, he had no infulence in tha first two games' storylines until tha third game.

N-no, that would be a bad idea, older games' sprites were lower quality than now, wouldn't look right.Maybe if they used them again but updated 'em to tha quality of tha 4th Gen.

They could update sprites to 4th gen graphix on DS

Like, they could make the pokes you play(try to catch)move around more, as well as the people move around more.
Oh and they could also have someone in the game actually explain ev and iv training to you, and there could be a ev/iv zone just for you to train your pokes a certain way.
