New Updates!

Right here is the list of updates for Platinum, credit to Serebii:

- Platinum will be released September 13th 2008 in Japan
- You have to face Galactic again, plans and HQ will be different
- The "Battle Frontier" will be in the Fight Arena
- The Wi-Fi capabilities have been upgraded, and can now support up to 20 people at one time
- Poffin making will have a new feature called "Swalot Machine"
- There is a new item called "Battle Recorder". This can record battles and you will be able to send it to your friends.
- Apparently, Giratina's Origin Form can only be used in the Torn World.
- Shaymin's new Sky Form's ability is Serene Grace. This Form is mostly focused on Speed and Sp.Attack.
- Giratina's Origin Form ability is Levitate
- There have been confirmed new sprites for Bidoof, Giratina's Another Form and Shaymin's land form.
- Jubilife's GTS system will be new and improve

What do you think is the best new feature? I think it's the new and improved Wi-Fi and GTS systems.

The worst new feature? I think the worst new feature is that you can only use Giratina's Origin Form inside the Torn World.

I think I might like the poffin improvement. Have you heard anything about the Underground wifi? Are they bringing in new pokemon to the Sinnoh region? >.> Cuz we need more fire types there then just a Ponyta and a Chimchar.

The poffin update looks pretty cool. But I don't think they did mentiona anything about the new Wi-Fi underground.

And we defiently need some more fire types.

That's a shame. I do hope GTS was fixed the way people want it to be(people can't request lv. 9 Empoleons or lv. 5 Heatran).

Does serebii have pics. of these updates?

WTH!? Why would they ruin Giratina like that. Those effin' tards, I knew there'd be a catch! I just hope those utter fools make some way where ya can use it full-time.

I want Giratina Origin out of the Torn World. >:O

I thought on Serebii they said there will be an item or something that allows you to keep Giratina in its Origin Form but I may be mistaken

No, it said it unknown if there will be an item, if there is, it is yet to be confirmed.

If there is a item that does that I'd say it'll be in Giratina's room in Turnback Cave after gettin' tha National Dex. Err...when I think about how much of a let down this Giratina thang is all I can do is fell mad a just simply sigh. I won't lie, this has lowered my excitement rate on this game somewhat. But I do like Giratina's new sprites, they own.

Yeah, it is true I'm afraid, you're only able to use Giratina's Origin Form in The Torn World.

The Battle Recorder actually looks pretty good, to.

Eh, so what's the point of Platinum version if Giratina is only allowed to be in its Origin Form when it's in Torn World?

If Bidoof, which is a very normal Pokemon, has a new sprite, I think all Pokemon in Platinum will have their own set of sprites.

^Yeah, it's pretty obvious because Bidoof has a new sprite, that all the other Pokemon from D/P will have new sprites.

The Point of Platinum is that there's lots of new features and places to go, along with new items and what not. And there MAY be an item to make him stay in his Origin Form while outside of The Torn World.

I can't wait to see Gallade's new sprite.

What I'm wondering is if Origin form Gira will some how unbalance the battling metagame, same for Shaymin. I wonder what pokemon will be in the Torn World, possibly Ghosts and Dark(Houndour/doom, yes!)? I'm pretty sure you'll be able to enter to and fro from Sinnoh to the Torn World.

I agrre with a few posts up they wouldnt just do smelly old bidoof, no one likes him, so they must have done the others too!

I agree with you, DOS, I think you'll be able to go from Sinno to the Torn World as you please, if you can't, it'll just suck.
