Um acording to http://pokebeach.com/games/...platinum the people at pokebeach, volkner is not a gym leader any more, it is unconfirmed. But Wallace did abanden his gym in emerald.

It is confirmed i think, there is def a new 8th gym leader

Also, Torn World = Win, although it looks abit hard to find your way around.

Alright, on tha 1-minute trailer towards the end it shows the regular Giratina standin' there. Then an Platinum object shaped like a gem comes flyin' on screeen then it shows Giratina's Origin Form. Well, I think that gem shaped piece of platinum is and actual in-game item that keeps Giratina in Origin Form. Maybe it's Giratina's version of Dialga and Palkia's Adamant Orb and Luster Orb. It's description would say it boosts Ghost and Dragon moves but as a side-effect it keeps Giratina in its Origin Form.

Yes indeed Geezerguy has a point. He should have an item like Palkia $ Dialga. I do like that theory.
