can plat. trade pearl right after you get it or do you have to get to a specific point?
i would like to know before plat comes out if possible.

Actually, I'm pretty sure you have to get your first gym badge before you can trade. That's how it is in D/P if I remember correctly.

To the first gym is for Wi-Fi trading because there is a nurse blocking the basement. Wireless trading is done in the upstairs of the Pok�Center and it can be done once you get to the first town.

yea but i dont know i think u might cause u never know wait actually u dont need to i remember cause if u have say a starly u can trade cause i traded it for a gible in my d/p at sandgem town after dawn gives u pokeballs

You would want to trade at the start to get the Shaymin and Regigigas so you can get the Gracidea Flower for Shaymins' Sky Form and be able to capture Regirock, Regice, and Registeel respectively.

You could always trade from the start, of course you have to have at least 2 Pokemon and of course be far enough to get to a Pokemon Center. I can't wait to trade all my Diamond stuff to Platinum.
