NEW Pokemon Platinum General Discussion

I'm so p!ssed, if it wasn't for freakin' UPS I'd most likely be in my room playin' Platinum, or on my way home. But no, I'm sittin' here with my parents and my aunt, what a fun Sunday for me...

Hey, your not the only one waiting because of UPS, coachcline. I pre-ordered mine from Amazon and won't get mine till Tuesday or Wednesday. And here I am my little bro got his game this morning after church and I'm just sitting here watching. Oh well, I can wait a few more days I guess.

I ordered mine from a game store that gets their stuff shipped by UPS, they said their shipment would be in either Monday or Tuesday and my mom's gonna go get it for me, so I hope they get it in tomorrow.

Really?? I traded about 6 DS games and a Gamecube game I don't play anymore, rounded up to be about $72, got my reserve, and the MASSIVE guide book at 10% off, then stiil had over $20 dollars credit!

Yeah, thats what I did too, JCP. :P So I'm sitting here, just outside of Eterna City for Gym 2 (distractions.. BACON!) and the massive guidebook. gah its still funnnnnnnnnnn :D

TANK!!! Can I get Eevee from Bebe without the National Dex? Serebii and other sites say go to Hearthome, but nothing else.

This is game is fun. Unfortunaely, I didn't go with Turtwig likedI wanted to. There's just something about Chimchar that draws me to him lol.

Eevee is in the new Sinnoh Dex DoS. SO yes Bebe gives Eevee when you meet her in hearthome. It's lvl 25 when she gives it to you. I just traded the one I got on Pearl to my Platinum so I could raise it into Leafeon casue it was lvl 5. I also traded my PBR Surfing Pikachu. And my Shaymin and Regigigas from TRU. and the Darkrai from Ranger 2.

Good, cause I caught a Shinx, it sucked, and want an Espeon on the way. I guess I do need the guide lol. Maybe I'll get it this weekend when I get some money in.

the guide book was only 20$ but buying it with the game is 10% off. =/ its worth it =]

Or you can read some of the stuff on Serebii's Platinum section. It shows you what Pok�mon are gifted. Cynthia gives you a Togepi egg in Eterna City. And you get a Porygon in Veilstone. But you no longer get a Happiny egg.

So, if we don't get our happiny.. I WANT A REFUND!! haha but if we get Togepi over Happiny, I'm good for it. Togekiss over Blissey. works for me.

Yeah, Togepi over Happiny is definitely a plus for me. Plus, you get Togepi earlier than you got Happiny.

Yeah, when I get out of the Underground, I'll start looking forward to the new Eterna City Gym. hah

Togekiss is much more versitile than Blissey. The problem with Serebii right now is that my computer is having trouble loading it. It get's real slow and sometimes the connection times out or the page loads up wrong.

I really can't wait until I get to Floaroma Town. Cause I want my Gracidea Flower, though I can't use it on my Shaymin until tomorrow sine it is 8:04pm

Coach, you should change the title of this thread from the Countdown to the Game Discussion. Since the game is already out we don't need a Countdown thread anymore.

Gah! Son of a female dog!!! I don't get it until tomorrow, again! Ah! But, on the bright side I get to stay home from school cause I have a doctor's appointment and we're gonna go get it. But at this point, I have totally lost every single ounce of patience in my being, but luckily it's guaranteed now.

Oi oi where is everyone at in Platinum? Like where specifically. I'm wanting to know who's farther than myself. ;D I'm actually taking time now to go slower and gain more EXP. I mean right now, going on to Gym 7 (at Lake Acuity) I have a Lv 100 Regigigas, Lv 70 Rayquaza (traded both) Lv 47 Infernape, Lv 42 Rotom, Lv 36 Quagsire, and Lv 30 Tropius. eh I'm using just Rotom and Infernape anyhow. :P

Well... i haven't got the game yet (T.T), but a i know guy in T&C is now battling dialga and palkia. he has beaten cynthia as the champion already O.o
