I think I will wait until March 22nd so it can be exactly a month I have had the egg before D/P releasal.

I know it has been a long time waiting, but your gonna have to wait another 3 months to transfer him to D/P. Its more exciting to me to do the mission the day before D/P release so I can transfer him. Hopefully we don't have to wait to be the Elite 4 and what not. But knowing Nintendo & Gamefreak I bet you we will all have to wait until we obtain that National Dex and have Beaten the Elite 4 before we can really enjoy Manaphy.

Well, I dont think that we will have to wait until we get the National Dex to transfer him, because on Serebii.net in the Diamond/Pearl section, if you look under Shinou Pokedex, Manaphy is # 151.

Does anyone know how we are going to transfer Manaphy over? Do we need 2 DS's or is there a different way?

You need 2 DS's to transfer Manaphy to D/P. Heres an idea, Maybe you can get 2 Manaphy eggs and transfer one to Diamond and one to Pearl!

Here is the deal with Manaphy:
You can only get one Manaphy egg per Pokemon Ranger. Then, using the DS with Ranger in it, and the DS with D/P in it, you must do a transfer using the "send" option in the Ranger Net after getting the egg. Then, D/P will get the egg. You will now have a Level 1 Manaphy! I am definitely doing the mission on the 20th because I have waited over a month and I can't wait any longer!
