how do you unlock the ranger net thing to type in the password? ive got the password but i tried the R X left on the D-Pad thing and it doesnt pop up or anything.(i just got the game so i can get manaphy for D/P i actually think the game is boring).

If you just got the game, then you have to beat it to unlock the Ranger Net Mode to get to the Manaphy Egg event.
Pokemon Ranger isn't boring, it can keep you interested long enough and is a good time burner until Diamond and Pearl comes out, in my express opinion.

you have to have 2 DS's, and on Ranger you must select to look at the egg, and then send the message. from there, I dont know what happens, and I wont until April 22

Pokemon D/P is out in other countries aready?im getting mine somewhere around this week ^.^ and i personnally think that manaphy does not look strong..the moves it learn issn't so good..but i dunnoe why so many people like manaphy so much..mine is just 3 days..

mines set for 999days..lol i just changed the year,in the DS,from 2007 all the way to 2010 and the egg is glowing !

On serebii. net ( http://www.serebii.net/diam...y.shtml )there is a detailed explanation on how to get Manaphy over to your Diamond and Pearl....

Once you reach Jubilife City, go to the TV station and go upstairs. In the TV station there is a guy, that will allow for the activation of Mystery Gift, all you have to do is say the correct sayings. The sayings are: EVERYBODY HAPPY and WI-FI CONNECTION. Once the guy accepts these sayings, Mystery Gift will be selectable on the title screen of the game.
Now get Pokemon Ranger into a DS and D/P into another DS. Go to the Ranger Net and start sending the invitation of the Egg throughout the wireless function. Then on D/P, go to mystery gift and it should pick up the Wireless Signal and the Manaphy Egg will be sent over to your game. Success!! You now have the Manaphy Egg. To collect the Egg, go into any Pokemart in Sinnoh. There will be a man there and he will give you the egg.
Now you have the egg it requires 2,560 steps to hatch. The egg hatches differently than normal egg hatching. It oscillates and then glows and the turns into Manaphy. Hatching at lvl. 1, Manaphy is now yours.
Key Note : you can only send one egg to your Diamond or Pearl game. You can only send one Egg through your Ranger save so Cherish you Manaphy.
FYI: Just in case you don't know what Oscillates means:
Oscillates - To swing back and forth with a steady, uninterrupted rhythm.
