TM i made the same topic awhile back and this was the answer given to me
The easiest way to catch him, is to go to the Ruins at the top of the forest and get a Shedinja. She will not be able to move when you are using the Ghost assist, and you must circle fast, and let go as soon as the numbers turn green.

If you want to captur mew you have to keep chasing it, but it will fly away if you do something to it like put it in a web after it gets free it will fly away. So you have to do something to it and the quickly try to get him if you don't befor he escaps put him in like a siper web and keep doing this until you get him.

its all about speed use shedinja's assist and then be quick make sure u do it when he isnt about to teleport

use a bug then quickly use a fighting type. i got him first try.

use a bug assist and then quickly swap to a fighting one. garanteed.
