Which is better? charizard or venusaur

Charizard, even if it's cliche.

Oh, I'm afraid there's a million ways that can be interpreted. But I'm going to interpret it as design for the sake of argument.

Charizard is a dragon with a tail on fire. That's pretty much it.

Venusaur, on the other hand, is imaginative. It's a cross between a dinosaur and a frog, with bumps all over its skin and a massive tree on its back, sporting a beautiful flower. Not to mention, if the Venusaur is female, that flower will have a seed in it. To top it all off, it has vibrant green ferns adorning its back, making a good add-on to an already terrific Pokemon - and don't even get me started on the Mega.

TL;DR: Venusaur.

Funnily enough, that is a Dragon Dance X. But even if it did use Dragon Dance, the only way it could survive would be with a Focus Sash. And even THEN it wouldn't be enough for Flare Blitz to KO Mega Venusaur.

True, but Mega Venusaur is never used as a offensive powerhouse, but a defensive one. And it runs in fear of Mega Zard X, because its usually plan in Leech Seed. lol

This isn't about how often it's run or how, it's about the fact that Venusaur could kill a Charizard with little more than 20% health lost.

It's all about how often it's run. lol

Besides, Venusaur isn't weak to the ever-ubiquitous Stealth Rock, and with Thick Fat, it has two 2X weaknesses (Psychic and Flying) to X's three 2Xs (Rock, Ground, and Dragon) and Y's two 2Xs (Water, Electric) and one 4X (Rock). It's all about total viability.

venusaur has got better attacks like frenzy plant solar beam sythesis to recover and so on
charizard is a lizard that can fly hahahaha..

I will admit Venusaur does have a very nice movepool.

Oh, did I mention Venusaur's Razor Leaf/Toxic/Leech Seed/Rest set in Genwun? Charizard can't compare, and especially not Blastoise.
