It freaked me out at first. I thought my game had been possesed. But I was seven...lol.
But Missingno. has bad effects, good effects, and weird effects. Just depends on what you do with it.

i had this effect from missingno. once i was battling with it it was at level 185 and when i beat it the exp. points went into a wierd number and the game locked up. strange huh?

Because Cinnabar Island has no native pokemon, any place that you fly from to Cinnabar Island will transfer all the pokemon in the previous area to the Cinnabar shore. But you must see the Old Man first, then fly to the desired area, then fly to Cinnabar. As you can guess, this makes Safari Zone pokemon much easier to catch because you can use your ultra balls. As for the hall of fame, it can really scare you. Me and my brother were just messing with Red Version again and we were just...mind blown. The Hall of Fame had a slot with no pokemon picture, and its type was pokemaniac. Out of all the messed up symbols in the name, ROCKET stood out. And the music changed to a soundtrack I have never heard before. I have finished the game, along with putting countless hours into it, so I'm sure it was supposed to be in the game, but they just didn't use it and left it there.

'M and Missing-No ARE DIFFERENT POKEMON. One has the Hex number of O,O ('M) and One has 256 (Missing-No.) Plus, I've caught 25 'M's and Missing-No's. And NOTHING Happened. Only glitch Pokemon with unknown Op codes Cause this. Don't worry, NOTHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN. Plus, 'M and Missing-No. Were placed into the game because of Missing Pokemon data. If the Game boy didn't know which Pokemon to pull out on Cinnabar's coast, they come to help if missing Pokemon data is there, so the Game Boy can run somewhat smoothly.
